Its recession time, still companies honor their commitments and if you are entering an organization it is always like entering a LKG class room for the first time. It is going to be jittery for the first time and if you do not have your college friends with you, the feeling will be more. You might long for the breaks and lunch hours to go join up with the old pals and start talking. But, like the way you forcibly leave behind your parents and grandparents and join the class to make pals and have fun, it is neccesary to join your office team and gel with them. Your college friends also need to do the same, for their own good !! So lets just see what can YOU do to make a better start .,

Parthiv patel or the other new comers to the indian cricket team had grown up seeing Sachin, Anil, Javagal with awe. Imagine their mindset when sharing the dressing room with the new set of people. It is a challenging task to maintain the individuality on one hand and to be a team player on the other. What if my team is not good !! thats the question every new joinee has and believe me I had asked it to the Assistant - VP of the organisation I joined in our informal trainings. He just looked up and said "It means you have a wrong attitude, young man". A team which is working in a reputed organisation can never be bad !! Something is going correct in there, thats why it is still a team. I just learnt few skills that are needed to be inculcated being a team player. There are :

There are two major scenarios playing in the global arena as of now. First is the economic recession. You and I you and I are concerned with the rising costs of petrol, potatoes. But never forget, that economic recession also plays havoc. The second issue is the terrorism. Why should that affect your career ? Perplexing ? read along. We are more concerned with the pick pockets in our buses but not terrorism. Lets just note how these two factors affect us and how can they be tackled.

In previous part of the series of article on "Becoming a better Programmer", we discussed the basic steps of software development. In this part, we are going to discuss on "Understanding the problem". This is very critical for the successful completion of the software. Not knowing what needs to be done is something like boarding a bus without knowing where go. If you like to travel aimlessly, you will have to waste your time/effort and end up nowhere. Understanding the problem is nothing but knowing what the users of the software want. Before evening solving the problem, you have to know the problem. Understanding the problem is known as "Requirement Analysis".
