What is Open Gyan

Open Gyan is an initiative started by couple of guys (software professionals) with an objective of sharing knowledge with the students community. We see that Open Gyan as a vechicle to impart experiential learning in software developmen through our workshops. Our worshops follows "do-it-yourself" or "get your hands dirt" approach where you get to know how to apply the theory and from the hands-on, you tend to verify whether the theory is correct.

This is primarily helpful for two reasons. First you appreciate technology and second you may possibly become industry ready.

Let us learn together as if we have brain.

Is Open Gyan a company?

Currently (and forever), we would like to continue this initiative as not-for-profit. All our workshops are free of cost to students.

Why do you conduct this for free?

Well, it is not exactly free. Yes, you heard it right. When we conduct workshops, we learn so many things from you which will help us a lot to deliver our paid-job and we honestly feel that we have an opportunity to improve many folds. Additionally, we get to know each other.

Who aren't we

We are not placement agencies, so please do not dump your resume on us. We will gracefully clean up our inbox periodically. We aren't brokers and we don't indulge in making any business out of this initiative. Our idea is not to give you something as free but eyeing bigger pie on something else. Wikipedia is our inspiration (we won't run online ads).
